Scenic Harbourside Weddings
After careful consideration and liaison with numerous Brides and Grooms we have chosen to hold Wedding Ceremonies on the foreshore of Sydney Harbour in Kirribilli.
- The main reasons for this are:
- With spectacular views of the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge this venue can give you photographs to last a lifetime.
- This area is controlled by North Sydney Council and provided that you do not have more than 60 guests they do not charge a venue hire fee. Near the City fees are normally about $450.00.
- Parking is much easier in Kirribilli and costs about $1.00/hour, compared with the City where your guests can expect to pay about $35.00 just in parking fees to attend your wedding.
Please note: there is no adequate shelter at Kirribilli for large weddings.
*You are welcome to choose another venue, but we offer this wonderful venue at Kirribilli for a special price.
The area where we normally hold Weddings is about 50m to the left of Jeffrey's Street Wharf, near the Palm trees.
Directions
- Drive south from Milson’s Point Station down Broughton Street.
- Straight ahead, as you approach the water, there is parking at the point marked on the Map, as the road curves left into Olympic Drive.
- Adequate meter parking is usually available there.
- Walk to the access point to Jeffrey Street Wharf; turn left; then continue along the path about 70 metres into the little harbourside reserve to a set of steps. This is the usual marriage venue.
