I have selected these marriage venues for affordability, ambience and convenience and overall features.

• Some Outdoor Locations provide shelter, some don’t.  There are some that do not require a booking fee. 
•  Some popular City Locations, however attractive, have significant disadvantages: expensive, difficult for parking or noisy. 
• If you have another venue in mind I can discuss it with you.

 

Federation Pavilion Cabarita Park

• Excellent shelter for a large group.
• Located on the banks of Parramatta River, with beautiful water views.
• Parking is available within the Park (charges apply).  Very good access by ferry to Cabarita Wharf.

A  highly significant site for our nation. "The Federation Pavilion was where the first Governor General of Australia, Lord Hopetoun, the first prime Minister, Edmund Barton, and the first Cabinet were sworn in at the official inauguration of Federation in Centennial Park, Sydney, on  1st January 1901. In 1903 the Council of Concord bought the pavilion and moved it to its current location. 

 

 

 

 

Rocky Point Island and Rotunda at Balmoral Beach

• Rocky Point Island at Balmoral Beach is an extraordinarily beautiful and spectacular Outdoor Marriage Venue.
• A small island accessed over bridge and up steps from Balmoral Beach. Landscape of lawns, bushland and rock outcrops. Set cost based on 2 hour period) $305.00

Rotunda

• The rotunda in the park near the beach is attractive, but offers limited shelter.

 

Wahroonga Park - Outdoor Sheltered Site

• The Rotunda can be hired for weddings - set in beautiful manicured gardens, close to railway station, great for wedding photos.

• Fees appear to be modest.

Swain Gardens (Killara)

• The Swain Gardens are quietly tucked away in a small secluded 3.4 hectare area with beautiful manicured lawn, shaded gardens and sandstone terraces.
• The gazebo area is very popular for weddings  great photo opportunities.

• Very attractive, secluded venue; plenty of parking
• A special feature is the Wedding Chapel which seats one hundred and twenty four guests. The inside is constructed from convict brick and features a heavily patterned plaster ceiling.
• The Chapel features air-conditioning, an accessible toilet, professional sound and lighting systems, generous floral decorations and bells.
• The Chapel is non-denominational and can be used for civil wedding ceremonies and commitment ceremonies.

• There is a balcony near water level that is ideal for a Marriage Ceremony (maximum capacity about 35-40 people).
