Important Information for all Weddings
1. Notice is Required, so Don’t Delay!
In Australia you don’t need a licence to marry; instead, at least one month and a day before marrying, the law requires you to give a completed Notice of Intended Marriage form to your chosen marriage celebrant.
2. Documents
You and your partner will need to produce birth certificates or other evidence of your age, and possibly other documents, depending on your circumstances.
